According to out-totheblack, The Coalition to Restore Coastal Louisiana is calling for volunteers.  The website seems to be getting lots of traffic so if you can't connect, try back.

I haven't found any stories of Proctor and Gamble donating 55 gallon drums of Dawn dishwashing liquid or Ford donating trucks or whathaveyou.  Most of the response seems to be by the Navy, the Coast Guard, BP and TransOceanic and volunteers.  I also haven't found any organizations taking donations specific to this cause.  If any of you do, please let me know and I'll update the post.
