Colleen interviewed me.  I'm glad her questions weren't too hard.

1. Who is your hero?  In the category of People I've Never Met: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_Winters
In the category of People I Have Met and I Wish You Could Have, Too: I'll have to tell that story a bit later.

2. Have you ever had surgery?
No, I haven't.  I haven't had any broken bones or stitches and only one hospital stay.  That's not to say that I'm healthy, though.

3. I think I remember you talking about running. What's your normal routine?
I don't run.  Heh.  Sometimes when I'm thinking about what I'd like to be when I grow up, I think I could run.  I'd like to, but I only walk on the treadmill when the notion hits me and it doesn't hit very often.

4. What's your favorite place to visit in Texas?
Texas Hill Country.  I haven't visited a lot of places in Texas only Dallas, San Antonio, Uvalde, Fredricksburg, Rusk, Palestine, Houston, Beaumont and probably some others I've forgotten.  I'd love to get out to West Texas one day, probably on my way to the Grand Canyon.

5. Cajun food or Creole cuisine?
I think that there has been such an overlap between the two, that nowadays you can't tell the difference.  (Don't throw anything at me, as I am neither Cajun nor Creole but almost Mississippi Redneck.)  Both rely on the Holy Trinity (celery, bell pepper and onion), a roux and good seafood.  And rice.  Throw a little bit of Southeast Louisiana "redneck" food in - roast beef, country ham and fried chicken and that's good eatin'
ritecher.

If you would like to be interviewed, comment and I'll ask you Five Questions.
